Senior IT Support Specialist
Position Summary
The Senior IT Support Specialist will serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, mentor junior staff, and maintain strong relationships with our clients. This role requires advanced troubleshooting capabilities across multiple technology platforms, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive technical solutions that align with client business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced (tier 2-3) technical support for complex issues across diverse client environments
- Serve as an escalation resource for junior technicians and help desk staff
- Develop and implement technical solutions that address recurring client issues
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and complex software systems
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including procedures and knowledge base articles
- Participate in client onboarding and implementation projects
- Conduct proactive system health checks and remediate identified issues
- Mentor and train junior technical staff on best practices and technical skills
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency support
- Collaborate with other teams to improve service delivery processes and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT support experience, with at least 2 years in an advanced support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and network infrastructure
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex, multi-system technical issues
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices
- Experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools and PSA systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service orientation with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple competing demands
Required Certifications
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ or equivalent certifications
- Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCSA, or Microsoft 365 certifications) preferred
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in an MSP environment supporting multiple clients
- Cloud platform experience (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.)
- Experience with VoIP systems and unified communications
- ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL processes

Senior Network Engineer
Position Summary
The Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in our service delivery team, providing expert network design, implementation, and troubleshooting services to our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of enterprise networking technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent client communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain complex network solutions for clients including LAN/WAN infrastructure, SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
Provide tier 3 technical support for escalated network-related issues
Develop and implement network security controls and best practices
Create and maintain detailed network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
Perform network assessments and make recommendations for improvement and optimization
Configure and support network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
Lead and mentor junior networking staff
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network integration with other IT systems
Stay current with networking technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, QoS, etc.)
Experience with network security design and implementation
Proficiency with network equipment from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Meraki, etc.)
Experience with network monitoring tools and techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
Required Certifications
Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIP, or equivalent network certification
Additional security certifications (CISSP, CEH, etc.) are a plus
Preferred Experience
Experience in an MSP or client-facing technical role
Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and implementation
Understanding of compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.)
Experience with VoIP and unified communications systems
